Several outfitters from the Quebec Outfitters Association operating on the Gaspe Peninsula and Lower St-Lawrence have created this special hunting and fishing portal in order to facilitate your search for some of the best Atlantic salmon fishing and black bear hunting in North America.

Each of our members are highly experienced and qualified in their respective fields. Within this site you will find some of North America's premier Atlantic salmon lodges as well as some excellent lodges for black bear as well as other big and small-game species. Most of you have come to this site because you either saw a video production on our area and/or our outfitters, or, through an ad that you saw on the internet or in a magazine. And now that you are here, we invite you to peruse our pages and discover each and every outfitter listed. In addition to the fantastic Atlantic salmon fishing and bear hunting packages our outfitters offer, many outfitters also offer fishing and hunting for other species in addition to salmon and bear.

For over a century Quebec, and more specifically, its Eastern regions - the Gaspe Peninsula & Lower St-Lawrence, have been synonymous with excellent fishing and hunting opportunities! Our region is internationally recognized as having some of the best Atlantic salmon rivers in the world! Surrounding our prolific -gin- clear rivers are our game-rich forests, where not only excellent populations of large black bear and moose thrive but also where we also find good populations of grouse, woodcock and deer in some areas. All of the outfitters listed on our site offer excellent angling or hunting packages for at least one, if not, more of the aforementioned species.

Getting here is very easy from most points in North America and from Europe. Guests can easily drive here in a day from Boston or New York, or, you can choose to fly through Montreal (Quebec), Bathurst (New Brunswick), or even, Presque Isle (Maine). If you prefer to travel by train, you can take an overnight train from Montreal to many of these outfitters lodges.
